Description

Original provider: Udayana University & WWF Indonesia Dataset credits: Data provider Udayana University - WWF Joint Program Originating data center Satellite Tracking and Analysis Tool (STAT) Project partner Udayana University has been involved in sea turtle conservation in Indonesia since early 1990s. Main arena are research and education/training. Project sponsor or sponsor description WWF Indonesia is the leading non-government organization in the country who committed to focus on sea turtle conservation in all aspects of turtle issues, i.e. habitat protection, trade reduction, and bycatch mitigation. Abstract: This project is part of the larger program entitled: TRACKING AND GENETIC ANALYSIS OF SEA TURTLES IN THE EASTERN PART OF INDONESIA, to identify post nesting migration of Olive, green and hawksbill turtles, as well as raising awareness of the locals to support turtle conservation in the region. Supplemental information: Visit STAT's project page for additional information. This dataset is a summarized representation of the telemetry locations aggregated per species per 1-degree cell.

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 3 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
