Original provider: Kakadu National Park Dataset credits: Data provider: Gardangarl (Field Island) flatback turtle monitoring; Originating data center: Satellite Tracking and Analysis Tool (STAT); Project sponsor or sponsor description: Kakadu National Park Abstract: Gardangarl (Field Island) is critical habitat for flatback turtles.<br>The annual flatback tagging and monitoring program provides valuable data for the only marine turtle listed globally as “Data Deficient” by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN).<br>This research has occurred since the 1980s; & every year since approx 1995<br> This dataset is a summarized representation of the telemetry locations aggregated per species per 1-degree cell.
