Description

Original provider: UFL Wading Bird Research Group Dataset credits: Data provider UFL Wading Bird Research Group Originating data center Satellite Tracking and Analysis Tool (STAT) Project partner This is a cooperative project involving the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the University of Florida, the National Audubon Society, the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and the University of Georgia's Savannah River Ecology Laboratory. Abstract: We are deploying satellite transmitters on Wood storks to examine their large-scale movements, breeding season foraging range and habitat use, breeding site tenacity over time, and habitat use during the non-breeding season. Most storks were captured via rocket netting, although a few were captured with a drop net. Supplemental information: Visit STAT's project page for additional information. This dataset is a summarized representation of the telemetry locations aggregated per species per 1-degree cell.

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 78 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Versions

The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.
