Dataset credits: Data provider Bare Sand Island Flatback, Green and HawksbillPrg Originating data center Satellite Tracking and Analysis Tool (STAT) Project partner Charles Darwin University, AusTurtle Inc. Cardno Ecology Lab, and Inpex Abstract: Two juvenile Green turtles and a single juvenile Hawksbill turtle were captured on the rocky reef south of Bare Sand Island, Northern Territory, Australia and fitted with Splash tags (Wildlife Computers). The turtles were released at the point of capture by AusTurtle Inc volunteers. Supplemental information: Visit STAT's project page for additional information. This dataset is a summarized representation of the telemetry locations aggregated per species per 1-degree cell.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 2 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
