Another mortality of 128 turtlesm occured in 2013 in an área stretching roughly from the resort of Monterrico to the Salvadoran border. Unlike the 2011 stranding, which was all but one Green, entirely olive ridleys, the 2013 had more of a mix of species, including 113 olive ridleys, 13 greens, 1 hawksbill and 1 leatherback. at the same time, in neighboring El Salvador, there was a stranding of 190 sea turtles. Supplemental information: A stranding of Olive Ridley on 8/29/2012 was deleted as the location of this event was inaccurate.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 24 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.
